"our families have been pretty close long before lawry or i were born, and we've got on pretty well since we were kids. too well, according to my mother, who was never the biggest fan of lawry or her "wild, american" mother. lawry lost her virginity to me and when my mom found out, all hell broke loose, she's hated her irrevecoably ince that day. charlotte's death couldn't change my mom's opinion of lawry, it didn't help that lawry kind of went off the rails, she used to just dabble in shit and she was pretty... friendly, but uhm after her mom died she just dove into this worl she'd always kind of admired from afar."
